1/ Discovery
We learn about your business, your customers and what the site has to do, review what you have now, and agree the sitemap and user journeys.
2/ Design
Designs for the key pages on desktop and phone, built from your brand. You review them and ask for changes before anything is built.
3/ Build and launch
Built in WordPress, content migrated, redirects mapped, and tested across devices, browsers and for accessibility before it goes live.
4/ Look after and improve
Training for your team, then a care plan to keep the site secure and fast, with changes, search and reporting as you need them.
Most projects take six to fourteen weeks from discovery to launch. Launchpad sites take four to six.
Website and digital questions we get asked
Do you only build on WordPress?
Mostly. WordPress gives you full editorial control, a huge support community and no lock-in to one supplier. We build on our own lightweight WordPress framework rather than a bought theme or a page builder, which keeps sites fast, accessible and easy to edit. Shops are built on WooCommerce. For simpler needs we also build on Squarespace.
Will we be able to update the site ourselves?
Yes, and that’s a design requirement, not an afterthought. Your team can add pages, publish posts and change images without calling us, and layouts are locked so the design stays intact. Every launch includes a handover session.
Can you improve our existing website rather than rebuild it?
Often, yes. We’ll tell you honestly whether a rebuild is the better investment. If your site can be fixed, sped up or restructured instead, we’ll recommend that. Start with a free health check.
Do you work with in-house marketing teams?
Yes. We regularly work alongside marketing teams and their other suppliers, from owner-led businesses to organisations such as Canon, Novo Nordisk and Surrey County Council’s recycling partnership. You get one point of contact: the people doing the work.
What happens after launch?
Our care plans cover hosting, updates, backups and monitoring, with changes tested on a copy of your site first on the higher plans. Ongoing SEO and AI search work can be added to any plan.
