The client

Blackwater is one of the world’s leading ETF and Digital Assets consulting and talent management companies. They advise asset managers on how best to grow their Digital Assets businesses and enable companies to build their internal teams through specialist recruitment services.

The brief

Blackwater has a wealth of experience, but it’s only in recent years that digital assets have become more recognised and mainstream. Blackwater were looking for a design and digital agency that could rebrand them and build a new website that would reinforce their position as experts with extensive experience – but in a way that wasn’t daunting or exclusive.

Our approach

Vital to the success of the new brand and website was going to be balance. On one side was the need to communicate Blackwater’s extensive indepth knowledge and experience – but we also needed to position them as accessible and approachable. With such a new sector (little-understood by many) it was essential that their new brand and website did not alienate those who were unfamiliar with the digital asset space.

The result

The new brand and website that we created placed Blackwater firmly in the right place for growth in this new frontier. The website features strong differentiated areas for their two main offerings of consultancy and recruitment services. The website is also content-rich, featuring YouTube channel and Spotify Podcast integrations that reassure visitors that Blackwater are clearly the leaders in their field. See for yourself.
