Rowan Preparatory School is a traditional yet forward-thinking school based in Esher, Surrey. The school values achievements and develops personal strengths, talents and works to always exceed expectations. In their most recent inspections the school was seen as ‘Excellent’ by ISI and ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (EYFS).
The brief
A long-standing client, Rowan came to us originally to help raise the profile and visual professionalism of their marketing materials. The private school sector is very competitive and Rowan’s excellent facilities and results were not being communicated well enough in their school prospectus design or marketing materials. They also needed to balance their long rich heritage alongside their forward-thinking and innovative approach to school life.

Our approach
We started by reviewing their whole range of communication pieces, from events invites and brochures to the main prospectus design – working with a more traditional campaign approach with more focus on message and consistency. As well as overhauling the design of their marketing materials we ensured that the finish was second to none, adding foils and varnishes to add an extra flourish, so that Rowan’s materials really stand out.
The result
The work we have done for Rowan on their comms pieces ensures that the exceptional level of excellence they provide to students is now always reflected in the way the school is presented to the outside world. From their open morning flyers and advertising right through to their school prospectus design, it runs through everything they do.
