The client

The Communication Practice (TCP) is a drama-based training company specialising in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). They help organisations build inclusive cultures that allow everyone to reach their full potential. Their mission is to build belonging in workplaces everywhere.

The brief

When TCP came to us, they already had a very strong vision of who they were, what they stood for and the workplace challenges that they aimed to tackle. But they needed to improve the way that they presented their passion and unique approach for external audiences. Pre was asked to undertake a comprehensive rebranding process and provide templates and guidance for their materials.

Our approach

Having a client approach us with such clear positioning and a robust strategy is unsual, but in this case that’s exactly what TCP already had in place. And we couldn’t fault it. The challenge for this rebrand was therefore not for us to develop their strategy or positioning at all, but instead take TCP’s work and translate it in to a visual language which others would instantly understand.

The key to the success for this rebrand would be in striking the right balance between communicating the financial and operational business benefits to company leaders and maintaining a personal approach which would make employees feel comfortable and valued as individuals.

The result

TCP have a fresh, bold and professional brand that mirrors their services perfectly. They can also be confident that they are presenting themselves in a manner that highlights their work in the best way possible – and most importantly in a way that connects with their intended audiences of both company leaders and individual employees.

Once the rebrand was completed, Pre created a few initial marketing pieces and design templates. We then provided TCP with the assets that their internal team and other partners could use to create ongoing items.

"As a relatively new organisation that was growing organically using DIY branding and design, we knew we needed to get our act together. Pre were brought in to help. They listened to what we thought we needed and guided us towards what we actually needed. They came up with really powerful designs that we found hard to choose between.”
