WeSeeHope needed to develop their old identity in to something which was positive, impactful and effective. As with all charities, budget was a central consideration, so the brief was to include a range of usable assets and brand guidelines to be used and by their internal team and international partners. The brand needed to stand out on a host of materials from t-shirts, leaflets, promotional and fundraising items to exhibition stands.
Online, WeSeeHope needed a new easy-to-use and fully responsive website to reflect the new direction and long term aspirations of their brand, as well as being an engaging, inspiring and valuable resource for their audience. Behind the scenes the system needed be easy to use, flexible and feature-rich, but robust enough to grow and evolve with WeSeeHope as their needs change over time.
We used colour, imagery and video to bring the new brand to life. A clear call to action on each page boosts engagement, encouraging visitors to get involved by signing up to their newsletter, making a donation, fundraising or running an event.
WeSeeHope had a limited budget so we made sure that we designed their website to be cost effective both in terms of the initial build and ongoing running costs. WeSeeHope can update the site themselves, publishing new content using page and post templates and using preloaded image libraries, so the site can evolve at no cost to the charity.
Since they started, the charity has raised over £18 million to support orphans and isolated children and young people in Southern and Eastern Africa. Although the credit for this rests entirely with the supporters, staff and partners of WeSeeHope, we are incredibly proud to have been involved in helping the charity communicate, engage, inform and fundraise as effectively as possible.
