The client

The Soul Shed is a wellbeing practice based in Alton, Hampshire, founded by Sam Taroni. Rooted in creativity and nature, it offers one-to-one coaching, group sessions and workshops built around the Enneagram, a framework for personal development and self-understanding. The Soul Shed attracts clients who want something more considered than a generic wellness offering: a calm, reflective space to explore who they are and how they want to live.

The brief

Sam came to us through a recommendation in late 2025, with an existing Squarespace site that no longer reflected where the business had got to. The brief was to redesign and rebuild the website from the ground up: something that felt as considered and carefully crafted as the practice itself. The new site needed to communicate warmth and credibility, work hard across all devices, and give Sam the ability to manage and grow her content independently. Alongside the design and build, we helped integrate her mailing list and booking tools, added new content sections including Enneagram resources and one-to-one pages, and supported Sam through the launch and post-launch period.

Our approach

A wellbeing brand lives or dies by feel. So before a single page was built, we spent time understanding how Sam works, what her clients respond to, and what the existing site was getting wrong. The answer was clear: the design needed to get out of the way and let the warmth of the practice come through.

We worked within Squarespace to give Sam a site she could genuinely manage herself, without needing to call us every time she wanted to update a page. That meant building clean, flexible templates, setting up her mailing list and booking integrations properly, and making sure everything was structured for the way the business actually operates. Content additions, including the Enneagram resource sections and one-to-one pages, were developed collaboratively with Sam throughout the build, right up to and after launch.

The result

The new Soul Shed website launched in January 2026 and immediately drew a strong response. Sam’s own words on launch day said it best: “It’s quite a transformation.”

The site gave The Soul Shed a digital presence that finally matches the quality of the work Sam does. Mailing list and booking tools are integrated and working. The content structure supports Sam’s ongoing publishing, including her Enneagram series and session pages. And crucially, Sam now has a site she can run and grow on her own terms.

For a small business where trust is everything, the new website does what good design should: it earns that trust before a word is read.
